This morning I empty the tank and refuel with Kerosene .
No success the : Ignition fail .The Voltage is 6.2 V
Im not sure what to do/
Im charging a 9.9LI battery to see if this will make a difference ....

Easy fix is to change out the glow plug with a new one ..... KB-1L
Pry out the element with a pin so it is in the kero stream , instruction booklet outlines this process
Lower the plug voltage to 3 , most glow plugs were designed to run on 1.5 too 3 volts only , at 6 volts you more than likely blew the element of the plug

Look at the throw-out bendix and make sure it is totally free on the motor shaft
Mine was making a strange noise and upon investigation the little throw-out bendix was not completely free on the motor shaft
2 drops of WD40 and some wiggling back & forth freed it up , no issues since

So nice to help me . Tomorrow I will go to the special tool store to find the screw driver to open the turbine and try to find a glow plug at the local hobby store .
KB L one ( L its for long ?)
I find some on EBAY
Thanks you again .
I will feel better if I can repair the turbine myself ..
My only concern I open the turbine I will void the warranty

Hi, As the JetsMunt VT98 NG is the new model I think it will have a ceramic glow plug in it, I am not sure what a KB-1L is, though it does sound like an IC glow plug, please ignore me if it is a ceramic plug,
I would sent it to JetsMunt to be done under warranty.

The VT98NG is kero start. It does not have a conventional glow plug. It has an igniter to light off the kero.
The igniter is soldered to the circuit board in the engine and on most engines it requires disassembly of the rotating components to access it. Then the engine has to be re-balanced.
Don't attempt the repair yourself. Send it to Jets Munt and let them address both your concerns under warranty

Also its not a good idea to put any kind of oil on the starter bendix. The oil will collect dirt like a magnet and eventually hang up again. Also if you get any on the o-ring it will cause it to slip. Disassemble and clean the bendix with a solvent. Make sure that there are no burs or roughness and that it operates smoothly. Use ultra fine emery paper if necessary. If you feel it needs lubrication use a dry lube like graphite.
