Anybody have any experience with these? They sure look good in the catalog but how do they build and fly?

Default Cermark F-16

I have a friend that had one of these cermark F-16. He said it was a really nice building arf. He said everything fit real well. The only problem he had was getting the retracts to work good. It just took a lot of time as do any mechanical retracts.

He had an OS 91 FX on it and had a hard time getting enough ground clearance for the prop. I think he ended up using a 12x10 prop. Which worked out well.

The plane was really good looking it is pretty close to a patern plane and it flies just like one. Real predictable and easy to fly.
I got lucky and got to fly it a few times and it flies almost like a patern plane. Landings were a lot slower than I expected with no tendencies to stall at all.

I would highly recommend this plane to anyone with a smooth airstrip as the retracts and low prop clearance are not to good for rough fields.

I hope this helps.

Default F-16

Glad to hear that cause I already ordered it! When they dropped the price to $199. I had to have it.
Anyone else have any experience with one?

It's a nice flying plane and looks great at the field. Here are some pictures of ours:
