Default Is it a Skylark or an Aerohawk?

Hi

I've purchased a Smartech Aerohawk off e-bay and read a previous thread from rcnutman (I think) which said he got sent a Skylark in an Aerohawk box.

Mine has arrived with everything as advertised except the canopy has different coloured stickers and also says 'SKYLARK' on it.

What I want to know is how can I tell if its a Skylark or an Aerohawk. It is exactly the same helicopter as advertised but they could of put a picture of a Skylark on there for all I know.

Can anybody confirm this is actually an Aerohawk - http://www.rc-expert.com/plane/image...ba/pop/~h1.jpg

I'm probably just being paranoid but I'd like to just confirm it.

Thanks

Thanks rcnutman.

Looks as though the helicopter is an Aerohawk - its just the canopy that says Skylark?!?

I was going to try and get a few dollars back if he'd made a mistake

The Skylark seems to have plenty of good reviews though so I wasn't too worried

Right then.......time to get balancing and trimming!!!

I think it's a skylark cuz the components on the board r not similar to the ones on my aerohawk.

Hi,

This UK site sells both but apart from the canopy it's hard to tell the difference?
http://www.rchobby.co.uk/Smartech_Ae...ady_to_fl.html

Alledged difference is quoted as:
'Which is better? the Skylark or the Aerohawk

The Skylark is a wll established helicopter, Its gentle to fly and very very robust, Its trade of is in advanced performance and also upgrades (Most Aerohawk upgrades will be compatible with the Skylark). The Aerohawk sacrifices some of the robust qualities for performance, Its quicker to take off, Accelerates and turns quicker'

It's an Aerohawk. There are quite a few differences between the Skylark and the Aerohawk. You can see them in these images (Aerohawk vs Skylark) that I got from rc-expert's ebay listing (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....&category=2563).
Note: The picture with only one heli in it is an Aerohawk.
