Wow...very nice collection. You actually have a room to keep all these tanks???!!! [X(]
I envy you. My wife will kill me if I do that to my studyroom.

RE: my panzers and other related stuff
thanks
The wife and me made an agreement to share a room, so she actually "owns" the other side of the room for her painting stuff
cheers

Very nice collection. You have my favorites the Pershing and the Panzer III. Very cool wife too for supporting you in hobby.
Be well,

your lucky to have a room for display. I have mine in my "hobby" room which also houses my music and as a woodwind repair shop.

That's not a current picture. How many of those did you "sell off" Bill? Probably easier to dust now huh.

Roger Panther..have only 12 left. Keeping only my Korean War relics. Those photos are a year old, but just wanted to show how some of us are relegated to a hobby space or our "junk corner".[&:] Some others have also shown some inovative display setups that don't get the household commandant's feathers ruffled.
Steenv has a very impressive and well laid out dislay....something we all admire and would all like. Nice not to have to climb up the walls to get a model down.

Well, I am the household commandant ... took a second marriage to get that fact straight. [&:]
My "Mission Room" is a 9' X 11' room. Doubles as an entertainment stage for my massive sound system, 800 plus CD's and DVD's and my bench building & collection, whatever that may be at the time.

Thought I'd jump in and offer up another perspective of a hobby room built to order. Mine is in our basement and was raw concrete walls when we moved in in 2004. I built the shelving and work benches, wired a lot of outlets at bench level and installed overhead flourescent lighting. I hope the picture up load is in this order. Far left side and center left.....reserved for Allied Army. Close-ups should follow those two. Then center and far right for German Army (one captured Russian AFV) with closeups following. Then a work bench with drill press, bench sander and jig saw. Next a hallway filled with reference material and my resin cast parts boxes. At the far end of the hall is a paint booth and resin casting bench. Back up front on the side is my favorite place to loaf.....the TV with a good assortment of war DVDs and vidoes, and best of all, a small refrigerator for chilling the beer. It all keeps me going and enables me to produce just about anything I need. The only exception is that I handle high temp casting of pewter out in the garage. I feel very fortunate to have a home that provides my own hobby space.....my "man cave" as the wife calls it, and best of all, she and the kids leave me alone in there when I am doing my thing. The only draw back is having to pack all this stuff up and dragging it to the FRAG Battlefield once a month. Enjoy the pictures. Panzerpaul

Well instead of buying a new Porsche or fancy boat, I decided for my mid life crisis, I'd just collect RC tanks. Course it can get out of hand, but since the wife rarely goes into this room, she wouldn't know if a new model showed up or not. So guess I'm safe adding a few more........God bless her !
