Default 3W propellers

Are the 3W props really comparable to a Menz? Thanks, Chris

The 3Ws are nice props, I have had good service from them. I do think the 3Ws load the engine a bit more and turn a bit less rpm for the same size.

Default 3W propellers

I have just recently heard of the 3W props breaking in flight near the hub. I was told that the grain of the wood turns perpendicular to the prop at a certain point, and that they are prone to breaking there. I have not witnessed this myself, but have heard multiple reports of the incident.
