Default Off road trailer questions

My flying field is about 1/4 mile from my house/workshop. ( 4 acre field on 70 acres ) I need some ideas to construct a trailer, pulled behind my trusty 4 wheeler. I wish to load 2 to 4 .40/.60 sized planes. It has to be smaller. I have some older motorcycle wheels and tires, I wish to use them up. Any ideas would be helpful. Thank you.

You say "it has to be smaller". Smaller than what? Can you give any clues?

Smaller than a typical 5'x8' utility trailer. Money is an issue, fixed retirement income you know.

Get a small utility dump trailer, the kind they sell al lowe's for riding lawn mowers and build a rack out of PVC to fit in the cart and hold your planes. Make the rack removable and you can use the cart around the house for work as well.

Here is an example of a higher end dump cart. They have cheaper models than this.

Build a rack similar to this to hold the planes secure. I found this on another thread here on RCU somewhere

This is just about what I wanted. I hauled an old cycle trailer out from behind the barn. Spent $20.00 at Menards, and this is the result. Now it's too darn hot to go outside!
