ARK X400
Hello everyone,
Does anyone know if there is an ARK X400 thread anywhere? I have just bought it and wanting some tips and some general info about it. I have heard many people say it is similar to a T-Rex heli but is much more stable.

I feel like an outcast as well, owning an MX-400 Pro. Look around, there are some X-400 people around. Also, try these links: http://www.helifreak.com/viewforum.p...8efd08b8a89442

RE: ARK X400
I love my X400s I have both Trexers and Ark. I found it(Ark) A little Easier to fly but its maybe cause of the weights on the flybar it comes with. none the less though, a trex with flybar weights is also a well behaved copter.
Ultimatley its up to you and wether you set it up Right, is what will tell how well it flies. Either bird though is a fine choice

RE: ARK X400
Im a MX400 pilot too.
It flys just as well as some of the Trex's. Im probably going to switch to a Trex soon though because Im having difficulties finding parts for the MX400.
Theres nothing wrong with the MX400 or the Ark400. Ive got well over 250 flights on mine im guessing.
I would highly recommend you replace the tail rotor grips with aluminum ones, and locktite the hub bolts. This is critical. If the bolts arent locktited in there...it WILL sling a tail blade at extremely high rpms. The tail rotates 4 times for each revolution of the main rotor. If the mains are turning 2800....the tail is turning 11,200. And you know what happens if you lose the tail rotor.
