RE: Sunset Models F-15
I have built a couple of them. The first one was shot down early in it's life but the second one, I flew for a couple of years. Both were powered with Dynamax fan and OS .77 VRDF. I installed SpringAir retracts on them also. Weight was about 9.5 lbs.
They flew well. Not quite as forgiving as a Regal Eagle but very close. Would make a good first DF with a Turbax and OS.46DF. Would be a lighter wing loading than mine were.

I am about half was through the build. This is my first kit, but it goes together pretty easy. I can wait to fly it. If I have time I will post pictures.

RE: Sunset Models F-15
After build up the body, it weighed about 4 to 4.5 pounds with out engine and fan, so total weight should be around 7 or less with a .46 VX-DF
