Default yet another "how much is it worth" thread

im thinking of selling my emaxx. im just wondering how much it might be worth and if i should sell it all together or part it out on ebay. upgrades include proline masher 2000 tires on chrome proline rims, rpm a arms, rpm skids, rpm bulkhead braces, associated factory team shocks, aluminum bumpers (not sure what brand), airtronics digital steering servo, rollcage, and proline f350 body. it has the stock evx and titans. it not definate that im going to sell it but im just wondering.

If you want to take the time, parting it out will give you more cash. But it will be a bigger PITA. More auctions, shipping, time and risk of getting cheated on something.

Selling it whole is faster and quicker but you'll likely only get about 1/2 it's new value - including about 1/2 what the upgrades cost you.

right now with those pics i wouldn't pay more then $200 for it. if it was cleaned up and it actuallly looked nice, maybe some batteries were thrown in then i would be willing to pay up to $275

clean it up real nice, then make it half the price of the car + 2/3 the price of the upgrades.

thats just it, i didnt upgrade it. i bought it off of craigslist a while ago for $60. i have only run it twice since i have owned it. the very first time, the esc quit on me. now the new one doesnt want to go into reverse. im hoping its just because my betteries sat for a long time and need to be revived

Cleaning a car can mean a huge difference in selling price, (personally) I would rather purchase a car that is nice and clean and looks well taken care of instead of instead of one that is all filthy... Just me, I also agree with Dave, parting = more cash, but is also alot more dificult [>:].

That is true. A short time ago it was worth $60. Maybe you can get more for it, maybe not...
