Default Brake Drag

Excuse my ignorance but English is not my native language and I need help with a term used in my savage and baja 5b manual which is: "no brake drag at neutral"....what does this mean? Thank you for your help.

Default RE: Brake Drag

It means the brakes should not be engaged at all when the throttle and brake are at neutral (no throttle or brake applied). The test for this is to simply push the car while everything is turned on (except the engine). It should roll freely. If it does, you have no brake drag, if you have brake drag it will seem like the brakes are on all the time.
