Sukhoi SU-26 For 50cc 3D Plane??
I love the way this plane looks!!! Would it be a good first choice for a 50 cc plane? I am more of a 3d nut at the moment. But I have started to get into the imac stuff a little more to sharpen my flying skills. Out of the other 50cc planes that wild hare offers is this the one I am looking for? Thanks!!!!

Sure, it flies easily with no bad habits, not snappy, lands easily, not a thing wrong with it as a first gasser.
Plus you can do your 3D stuff with it too.

I just bought one from Desert Aircraft here in Brisbane Australia!
Couldn't decide between a Extra 300 but Ian and Steve suggested the Sukhoi as an IMAC plane (and 3D)
Tom you mention a DA50 template on a thread. Where do I get that from, can I download it if its on paper?

They are made from lite ply. I think your plane should have one in it, I specified that for all the DA planes.
If not I would thing DA Australia can supply a paper template.

This plane was my introduction into gas as well.I powered it with the TOC-53 and a canister and have around 50 flights on it so far.She is very easy to land as it slows down nicely with the round cowl.I have the yellow and red one and it stand out nicely no matter the weather conditions.I am just learning to 3D and like to fly imac, she handles both without a problem.
The plane is well built and should provide years of enjoyment. The TOC-53 has been great and starts easily,i am thinking about ordering the level 2 hop up kit from Tom.In my opinion you can't go wrong with this plane as an introduction into 50cc and gas.
thanks
