Default The wait is over

I got home from work today, and I recieved my parcel from the states. With a smile from ear to ear I open it up to finally see my new engine. Picco 28, 086 pipe and glow plugs can't wait to install it in my XL and run it in . And it only took 10 days to deliver as well

I took some pictures of mune as well but did not post them as I was so excited parts of the cooling head were cut off and the rest were blury.

I am 31 and should not be acting like this with my 22 month old baby around, I was almost jumping for joy!!

Oh alright I did jump a little bit!!!

When I got mine I sealed up everything including the carb as I was working out the kinks in a Picco .27 I received just days before. You will have to let me know how it goes with the air leak on the carb.

I am waiting for some warmer weather here. Then it will be the .27 for a bit until I start running the .28 in the summer. I cannot wait for summer time. It is the longest wait ever, and it keeps snowing here like every other day. We are 2 inches above the average for snow fall in January.

Yeah it's funny how Fedex becomes santa when you become an adult. When my XL came in the mail from bud bud I had to go pick it up. It was earlier than I expected so I didn't know for sure what it was. My son and I went out to pick it up and hen the lady brought out the box, my heart started going. I felt like I was no older than my son (5 btw ) But hey, gotta have a reason once in a while to get excited like that .

And oh yeah, when I first came in here I remember mention of a nitro addiction problem that some guys mentioned now and again....... Do I qualify it I want to build a track in the snow in my yard? Or is that a normal feeling? Oh and I'm a pup to I guess. I'm 31 as well. But geeez that number keeps getting bigger..

We hear they're hurting for guys in your position down under? Makes it tempting to load the Jeep and toolbox up on a boat and head over

Have fun with the new mill...We may have to jump on the bandwagon soon...

Hah! Use to live in Melbourne myself and defienetly some weird weather going on there! But a great city I must say loved it! Nice picco you have. What did that cost you and where from? It is hard to find some good eBayers who ship with reasonable shipping rates to Australia. Sorry to highjack! Good luck with the break in.

i got it through ebay seller rcboyz and the exchange rate was .696063 cents. I bought the picco for $199.99US, 5 glow plugs 7.50US each, pipe $50US, a couple fuel filter and a fuel tank. it cost $7.55US to ship, but i think it cause i spent so much all up it was about $445AUD. I planning on buying some more glow plugs off them unless someone sells them cheaper but i'll wait the the aussie dollar to get abit higher

I'm with you guys! Mine came about two weeks ago but we've had a bit of a cold spell and I'd been waiting on fuel to show up at the LHS finally got it and some shims to get the clutch fitted properly. So late last night I finally buttoned her all up and ran two tanks. And yes my grin about split my face in two. My wife thinks I'm a headcase on account of how excited I get about a "little toy car".

The only reason it bothers you is because you paid $400+ for your toy car.

ThunderbirdJunkie's Savage, Aftershock, MBX5R, XXXNT AD2,XXXNT RTR, Tamiya F103GT, Tamiya F103F1, and the rest of the gang are all little toy cars. Don't know what's so special about yours that makes it not a little toy car

I fired up a new Picco 27 today, I hope yours start and run as easy as that one did! It is in a truggy, but it has all the same Picco quirks. I just kept it running until the steering fell apart, tomorrow I will be looking for some power with it! Glen
