I run those. On my twin engine Savage, I run the Commandos and Big Joes. These very heavy wheels are a godsend when it comes to pitching the nose up and down in mid-flight from a jump.

On my daily basher, I have the bowties and Commandos, and again, they are great in controlling my truck's attitude in mid-flight. Yes they are not as heavy as the big joes, but the metal beadlock rims do add the moment of enertia I am after to control the truck in the air.

no
not at ALL!!!!!!!!! dropping your ratio that much will go from slow starts to back flips off the line, 14/52 is CRAZY low, i'ld go like 16/49 or 52 or 14/47 do the math between the ratio's i'ld do what ever is closest, just divide CB by spur, which ever is closest to your current one try that, a little goes a LONG way,

the lug
