Savage Glow Plug and Clutch Question
Hello-
I have read on this forum that the stock clutch on the F4.6 engine is one of the bigger low points of the savage. As such, I am looking to updgrade. There is a host of different options online; I am looking for a decently priced clutch to use on the stock engine for bashing purposes. I have also been told that a vented clutch bell will also help.
Secondly, regarding Glow Plugs, I have several of the Tower Hobbies plugs from my last nitro (Evader). Wondering if those would work fine on the F4.6 with 30% nitro (I know I'll need to re-tune).
Thanks

RE: Savage Glow Plug and Clutch Question
Mugen shoes, Dynamite shoes, or stock XL shoes. The XL shoes will probably be the cheapest bet off ebay since it will come with 3 shoes, 3 springs, and flywheel as well.
I have the HPI purple shoes and they have held up decently I guess. A little less than 2 gallons and they are starting to get down to the springs. I may try the Dynamite shoes next since they are supposedly supposed to last 3x as long.

I run these shoes in all my RC race vehicles. I get at least 4 gallons out of them. All so they are adjustable.
