Default How to determine E Power size on Twins...

Does the same formula work for twins/multi engine aircraft with Brushless Electric Motors? Say using 100 Watts per/lb (just multiply the watts by 2) or is there other considerations...? ie... 10lb Grumman Goose=1000Watts so, 2 motors 500 Watts each?

Gregg. That is about right... ( 100 watts per lbs divided by 2)

From what I´ve heard, a twin need only 2/3 of the power required for a single engine plane.
This because on a twin the propeller streams over the wings are more aerodynamically efficient

Here´s an old video showing my plane flying with 57 watts/lb (2x800W/28lb)
The performance is not great but good enough for scale flying
