revo jumping question
i have a revo 3.3 and i jump more than anything, but when i try medium to large jumps i often break my shock "hinge" (the round part holding the shock to the frame) i have p2's on all corners and purple springs on back and i think greens on front, the back gives me more problems more than anything, what can i get/do to stop this? thanks

RE: revo jumping question
did you move the push-rods in on the control arm to give you a higher ride height? ive never broken any suspension part jumping, and i jump like 15feet in the air and land flat sometimes.

lol its your spring...u cant have purple in the rear with green in front...the purple barly gives at all and green give much more compared to that. try silver and green...what shock oil are u using also? you'll want to go 60wt or plus with this kind of set up.

i mainly jump running blue in rear silver in front with 60 wt oil on the stock rockers (p2 i think) with no pre load on the springs, works well.

RE: revo jumping question
you can add pre load by turning the little black ring thats around the shock body clockwise, i run so there is no slack in the shock (so when you lift you truck off the ground there is no gap between the shock spring and wehre it seat on the shock body), but no extra tension on the shocks when there is no load on the suspension
