Easy, Consistent Rivets
I have been using this system for years with great results. First you must want to have raised rivets. This is the quick way in lieu of flush ones, but hey, some of us like to spend more time flying then building! Anyway, I had picked up a pack of mechanical pencils at AC Moore with a screw on tip. Remove this tip and pick up one of the small bottles they sell for squeezing out their fabric paint. Clip the tip and thread on the mechanical pencil top. Next take a mixture of about 75% white glue to 25% water and mix in bottle. A quick squeeze gives you the nicest little ball of white glue on a surface. This later flattens nicely. Once you get use to the pressure needed you can rivet fast. My Twin Engine bomber has about 6500 rivets done in this fashion. Once more, once you have primed over the drops and painted the plane, do a little steel wool across the surface and watch the rivet wear come to life.

Nice method....
Here is the method I have been using. It's prettu no brainer and you can do flush rivits with it also. It's a tape!
