Default Cowl mounting - drilling holes

After making a quick diagram to answer a question on a competing forum, I figured I'd pass it along here.

Have trouble figuring out exactly where to drill that hole in your cowl to hit the center of the mounting-block? Here's a tip from the manual of a Pacific Aeromodel ARF that may help:
