Default Newbie thinks tanny has blown on fist drive

I just bought a revo brushless on my first drive the truck quit going forward, I tightened
the slipper clutch did not help. It clicks real hard if I push it forward, the engine revs. I also saw some pieces of black plastic

I would say if you have seen shavings there is a problem. if you hit the throttle and the spur gear moves but the truck does not, it is something in the trans. if spur gear does not move then you've probably got motor or slipper clutch issues. hope that hepls

Maybe the spur gear mesh is too tight.
