I need a engine lesson
Hey fellows, Here the deal , and I know I should know this but I'm not very clear on it so I thought i would ask one of you engine brains to help me understand it alittle better ,I still haven't quit figured out the glow to gas setup, what i mean by this is for example lets say I have a saito 180 or a 150 well if i decided to use a gas engine what is the CC's compared to a 180 or the 150, I will give you another example I have a Double Vision and I have a DA-50 for it well I have another two other planes that I'm working on and they both are asking for a DA-50 well i only have two of them, and yes I could buy another one but I have a bunch of different kinds of engines, I got webra 120's, iv got a ZDZ 40,50 80 , 100, and a 210, I have YS 63, 110 and a 140, but my point is not to get on here and tell you all the money iv spent on these engine, its to understand what is the cc of a 180,150 a 120, I hope this made since..
Thanks
Randy

RE: I need a engine lesson
The simplest way,
To change Cu Inches to CCs:-
Cu Inches divided by 6, and move the decimal point 2 places to the right.
To change CCs to Cu Inches :-
CCs multiplied by 6, and move decimal point 2 places to the left.
Never fails! - No calculator required!
PS. Remember,
A 120 is really 1.2 Cu Inches, - a 150 is really 1.5 cu inches, - an 80 is really 0.8 Cu Inches ---- etc. etc.
