I need some OMP and Fusion graphics for my new Fusion. I cut out the ones on my first Fusion but would like some like I see on the ARF. Do you have some or where can I get some? Here is my first Fusion, still flying.

Should be fine with 30% nitro. Not a ton of pull out but will get the job done.

150 on mine. Flies great with it. You'll need to use 2 servos in the tail, but other than that, there's no problems with the 150. I think mine came out at 7lbs 12oz with it. (kit version)

RE: Fusion ARFs on the way!!!!
Good question! I'll have to add those to the webpage soon but basically the ARF manual like most of the manuals I write take the "final assembly" sections from the kit manuals and go from there. So feel free to download the kit manuals and browse the final assembly section to get an idea of the arf manual steps.

RE: Fusion ARFs on the way!!!!
Hey Mike, John & PlanePlanter,
You guys made my day. I just ordered a 52" Fusion - very excited to see this plane show up as an ARF so quickly. I didn't think it would be available until Fall.
Here are a few questions for before and after the shipment...
1. Is the F 52 motor mount rail beveled for right thrust, or does it need the Tetherite offset plates?
2. Does the F 52 come with Tetherite gear, or do I need to order a pair? Is the current Tetherite gear tapered or straight leg? (The Accessories page shows tapered, the Tetherite page shows straight...)
If I need these items, can I add them to my Fusion shipment?
3. Is there room to remove the F 52 wings easily, or is it harder because the F 52 is smaller than the F 67? I may just try to carry it assembled in the back seat of my car, like I do with my Kat GS. What keeps the wing square to the fuse?
4. I don't know who is building your ARF's for you these days. Do you have any comments on the quality of the wood, adhesives and building of the Fusions? What covering is used? Are they built identically to the kit manual photos?
Thanks much,
Lenn

RE: Fusion ARFs on the way!!!!
Fusion 52" questions...... Will an "older" 46 like the OS 46 FX (with mousse can possibly) fly this plane well, or does it need more oooomph? I do have a Saito 82 if I would need to go to that.
Thanks,
Ernie

I hang out with these guy's enough that I can answer most of you questions for you.
.1 You will need the offset plates if you want to put right thrust in your engine. A few washers behind the back mounting bolts will also give you right thrust but they will eventually sink into the wood mount causing your engine to loosen up. So I would highly recommend the offset plate.
.2 The Fusion ARFs are listed to ship with aluminum landing gear. I have not seen the gear that is shipping with this ARF so I can not tell you how strong it is. But if you want a set of gear you don't have to fuss with buy the tetherite.
.3 The wings are very easy to remove on the Fusions. There is one bolt that passes through the into the opposite wing half. There are dowel pins that the wings lock on to to keep them from rotating.
.4 I can't remember who is building this ARF for them but from the prototypes that they have shipped over for us to play with they are very good quality. The 52" Fusion ARF is built just like the kit. It is all wood construction with the carbon fiber beams. It is very light. You can rest assured that they will sell you a quality product. Mike looked at a lot of prototypes from the manufacturer along with covering samples to make sure of that. I have flown both sizes of the fusion ARFs and they are both awesome flying airplanes.
Ernie.
An OS 46 FX will be great on this airplane.Put a Mac's one piece muffler on it or a tower hobbies .46 muffler on it to help bring out the power in it. Put an APC 11 1/4 x 3 3/4 prop on it and you will love it. I had a saito .82 on my Katana and it flew like crap. I let Mike play with it for a few minutes and he told me to swap out the saito for a .46 2-stroke and it would fly great if I balanced it to the same CG as I had with the saito. And he was right. I love it now. I can't explane why it flys better other than the fact that the plane is lighter with the 2-stroke. The lighter you keep a profile the better it flys.

With a OS 120AX, I moved the battery as far back in the wing as I could. I also had to add about 1 oz. of weight to the tail. The engine is a little wider(about .09"), so I did have to do a little sanding. If your still building, the adjustment would be easy. Not sure about the ARF's.
Well worth the extra work!
