im thinkin about getting a smaxx and upgrading to the 3.3. i want a 2 wheel drive truck that with a lil work will fly. i dont think the 3.3 will make it faster, but hopefullly stand it up at any speed. should i try to get a tmaxx 3.3 transmission too? i need insight on any problems that might arise. or just feedback on if is a good idea. thanks

A good tuned 2.5 will stand it up. A 3.3 will definitely make it faster and wheelie more altho I'm not sure about the "at any speed" part. If you get the 24 tooth clutchbell and 64 tooth spur it will definitely haul. I have a Sirio .23 in mine and with that gearing it flat out flies. Altho I had to dremel the engine mount holes a little because with the 64 CB the engine wasn't getting close enuff to the spur gear...or you can either get the 66 spur gear and you won't need to dremel.
