Default GWS DRAGONFLY GYRO / MIXER SWAPOUT QUESTION

I have a GWS Dragonfly and I love it, Awesome to learn on. However I have a mixer gyro combo board. PHA-01. It works most of the time. Sometimes I have to disconnect the battery to get it to reset. How do I get rid of this and go with a seperate gyro and ESC? I have a tail motor nongeared. (straight shaft) . ANY IDEAS?

HELIHOBBY! YOU KNOW, I HAVE TO SAY THAT THEY HAVE CLEANED UP HERE RECENTLY. THERE WERE ALOT OF PEOPLE INCLUDING MYSELF THAT HAD PROBLEMS WITH ORDERS. I THINK FOR THE MOST PART THEY HAVE GOT THIER S#!T TOGETHER NOW. BUT THEN AGAIN I HAVEN'T ORDERED ANYTHING FROM THEM IN AWHILE. I DON'T WANT TO SCARE YOU OFF FROM THEM, BECAUSE THEY COULD BE REALLY GOOD SOURCE OF INFORMATION AND PARTS IF THEY HAVE GOT ALL THE BUGS WORKED OUT OF THIER ORDER AND SHIPPING SYSTEM.

GOOD LUCK, CHRIS

Interesting:

I just ordered a Shogun400 and I got it like two days later. The main mast was bent and I called them and they happily took my complaint and upgraded it to the steel one for free and shipped it out that day I got it two days later. I havent had any problems with them. Very friendly people. If you had problems I think maybe they cleaned up thier ack. They treated me with professionalism.

THATS GOOD, MAYBE I WILL START DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN, I WAS A LITTLE DISPLEASED DUE TO THE FACT THAT THEY HAVE A BUNCH OF UPGRADES FOR ALL KINDS OF HELIS AND THEY ARE IN THE USA. THE ONLY OTHER THING I HAVE HEARD IS THAT THEY HAVE SOME KIND OF KNOCK OFF CNC GEAR BOX FROM MICROHELI FOR THE SHOGUN, WHAT I HEAR IS THAT IT IS NOT THE SAME AS THE ORIGINAL MICROHELI PART. I HAVE INVESTIGATED THIS HEAR SAY AND FOUND THAT IF YOU GO TO MICROHELI.COM AND LOOK AT THE ORIGINAL FROM THEM IT DOES LOOK DIFFERENT THAN THE ONE THAT HELIHOBBY IS ADVERTISING AS MICROHELIS CNC GEARBOX. IF YOU LOOK CLOSE AT THE GEARBOX FROM HELIHOBBY YOU CAN SEE THAT THE BEARINGS GO IN FROM THE OUTSIDE OF THE BOX, IF YOU LOOK AT THE ORIGINAL FROM MICROHELI.COM YOU CAN SEE THAT THE BEARINGS ARE MOUNTED FROM THE INSIDE. BUT THEN AGAIN THE ONLY WAY TO TELL IF THEY ARE SELLING KNOCK OFFS IS TO CALL MICROHELI.COM AND ASK IF THEY SELL TO HELIHOBBY.COM!!! ALSO THERE IS A PRICE DIFFERENCE THERE TO. JUST MY 2 CENTS!!!!????? THE ONE ON THE RIGHT IS FROM HELIHOBBY AND THE ONE ON THE LEFT IS FROM MICROHELI.COM. CHECK IT OUT FOR YOUR SELF???? THEY COULD BE THE SAME THE ONLY REAL WAY TO TELL IS TO HAVE THEM IN HAND SIDE BY SIDE. IT IS JUST A ROUMOR, THE POST THST I READ REALLY DIDN'T HAVE ANY PROOF TO BACK HIS CLAIM UP EXCEPT FOR PICTURES LIKE THIS.

THANKS, CHRIS
