get a mamba Sidewinder Sv2 for 99.00 motor and esc and you will be very happy it will nice and speedy on 7.2v and super fast a 3 cell lipo 11.1v .it will have no heat problems as long as you dont over gear it . any good brushed motor will cost at least 40 bucks and most likely be to much for you stock esc so just going brushless would be best and cheaper in the long run

the best bet is to put the stock gear back on it for now and save a little 20.00 will not get you a better motor then you have . never buy a used motor always try to get new stuff

you would do better just getting a new stock spur and pinion then getting a new motor for now .at least wait till the stock motor goes out don't worry it wont take long.

i was thinking you could get a slash motor it a 550 size and it would give you a little more speed and could take the new gearing your running and that motor is under 25.00 most likely your best bet on a new motor
