loose HSN

Default loose HSN

so im workign on a buddy of mines traxxas truck. i think he said it was a t maxx its a few years old and has trx 2.5 on the side of the motor. i had it runnig fine but the other day i took it out and its pissing fuel out the HSN. it appear the be between the carb and the plastc piece the fuel line itself connects to im just wondering if this is something i can ust tighen upor repace or if he'll need to get a new carb for it i put a photo up in my gallery unsure how to post it here its leaking from the washer just under the black part

Unless the black plastic banjo fitting is cracked, all you should have to do is tighten the HSN housing (brass hex piece). Loosen the HSN up first so it doesn't travel down too far and become damaged when tightening up the housing.

Its a good idea to seal up all around it as well. I put Loctite 518 on both sides of both washers (i use the 518 for sealing everything on the engines... its an anaerobic gasket maker, and works great). Of course, you can use regular silicone gasket sealer/maker as well.

Does any one know the stock needle settings or a good starting point to get this retuned it seems when he tuned it he never adjusted the needle he was just loosening the needle housing
