HPI Firestorm radio problems
Hi there,
I have a HPI firestorm, the problem is that the car responds to the radio when the engine is off but when the engine is running the car doesnt respond to the radio (Steering, throttle, brake).
Any help would be appreciated,
Many thanks.

Well, welcome to Nitro. That is a normal thing, it lessens with better radios. Take a look here.

Thanks Patrick for the info! Is the metal touching the heat sink and making the car crazy a normal thing then? The car was working fine and then suddenly i had no control and it rolled into a hedge. So it could be fixed with a better radio? Thanks for your help.

RE: HPI Firestorm radio problems
You need to make sure your reciever battery is fully charged and invest in some sort of failsafe.

P.S. The servos I use have their own failsafe, but you have to be able to program them.
