Micrors4 or tc3? Newbie Q's
ok car guys... I have lots of rc experience with planes, but not cars. My research leads me to the following...
micro rs4rtr, or tc3rtr? is the am tx/rx a concern w/ cars? it seems to me it'll be close range compared to aircraft, but? what's the difference in quality between rtr and kit as far as the car itself is concerned?
I've been the route of buying cheap %$## first and then spending $$$ on what I should've bought originally later. I realize these are 2 different scales btw. I don't think (I rarely do!!!) I'll be racing, I just want a good, solid, reliable play vee-hickle, so please don't enlighten me on what I COULD spend. Don't scare me off! And don't make me buy her another piece of jewelry either...
Thanks to all in advance, ...N

I'm assuming your looking for electric, but the Micro RS4 is 1/18 scale with a top speed of around 10mph, the TC3 probably goes around 30 and is 1/10 scale. Unless you mean nitro then things are different.

yep, electric for sure. gas is too noisy for my neighbors and too messy for me!
Gosh, only 10mph for the little guy? I thought a mag said more like 20, but they probably paid them to say it! That sounds awfully slow. Does it seem fast driving it?
I'm kinda leaning toward it for the small size, but I don't want to be slooooow!!!
Thanks for the reply, this board seems kinda slow...

The Micro RS4 is about 12mph in stock form with only 4AA batteries.
Step it up to 5 cells and you'll see 16mph.
6 cells and you'll puch the 20mph mark.
Trust me 10mph seems slow UNTIL you try to drive it inside.
