Megatech MTC4605
I bought a Megatech MTC4605, the direct drop in hop-up for the T-Maxx. It is a pull start .16 engine. It is advertised and marketed for the T-Maxx. You'd figure it would have a little info for the T-Maxx, however, there is none. I know that a lot of manufactures do not include great info for their products, but Megatech takes the cake. I am very experienced in breaking in car/truck pull start engines, but this have to be the most difficult engine I have ever seen. You name it, I've done it. New glow plug, check. Tilting the truck in every possible position to avoid flooding, check. Adjusting, readjusting, rereadjusting the high/low speed needles, check. Three different glow igniters, check. Walking away, hiding around the corner and trying to sneak up on it, check. Currently, I am working out my other arm to avoid the Popeye arms I am getting from turning the engine. Has anyone else experienced this wonderful engine? Any suggestions? I did drop a line to Megatech today (3/23 at 930am) and I will let all of you know when I get a response from them, and what they suggest.

Megatech did nothing, and I mean nothing to help me. Sad. However, I bought a quick start adapter for the M16 and I got it running great. It took a lot of time to break it in, and I found no help from Megatech. I am now happy with the engine. So, I guess it just shows that I shouldn't have trashed the engine before I had time with it. But, I will say, time and time again, their customer support stinks.
