ESC Recommendation
My desire is to get an ESC and reciever for my Non-Scale trail truck (HBX Bonzer)
I need the ESC and reciever to take a bit of moisture.. I am not sure if the servo will need water proofing yet..
I have discovered a new area to play in and its basically a flat ( well not exactly flat) river bed that still has water running in it ..
We can expect the water to be around 1.5 to 2 inches deep.. and flowing so if the worse comes to worse we need to make sure the ESC and Reciever are Still OK..
You can see the River bed ( well a little) in this Vid)

Since Rock crawling people seem to have to deal with water I thought it was best to ask here...

RE: ESC Recommendation
Yes, it will. On any ESC, you don't have to worry about the lower motor limit, just the upper motor limit. So if a speed control says it can handle motors down to 12T, for example, that means you can run a 12T or higher (ie 12T, 27T, 55T, 100T, etc...)

RE: ESC Recommendation
I just tried a Mates M-Troniks RV15 Viper ESC with a 55T and it saw the motor as an Open Circuit...as in it would not respond... connected it to a 27T and it worked fine ?? Weird...

RE: ESC Recommendation
Hi, I'm searching a good esc for my hbx monster ( just smoked one ) ... It has a tamiya BZ motor, and I would like to run it with a 2 cells lipo battery (eventually) .
I just bought this [link]http://cgi.ebay.it/200A-EP-RC-Car-Plane-Brushed-Motor-Speed-Controller-ESC_W0QQitemZ110406516559QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Toy sGames_RadioControlled_JN?hash=item19b4bdbf4f&_trk sid=p3286.c0.m14[/link]
but I don't think it will last for life..
Do you have any (cheap) suggestions?
Thanks
