(((KYOSHO))) MP7.5mk3. $$$269 RTR, just open the box, stuff some batteries in the transmitter and a hump pack 6Volt reciever in the buggy, fill it with fuel and oil up the filter, run in the engine and after 6 tanks you'll be ready to race.
Easy tune up, stick a heavy duty high tork-high speed servo in the buggy, there are already high speed digital servo's in it which is good for the thruttle-break control but just a tad slow for the steering servo.
Total price for everything: FUEL
GLOW PLUG DRIVER
BUGGY
FUTABA SERVO
$350 and you should get some change back for an ice cream at the track.

DITO THAT, Yep, thats a good buggy to start with and should keep you happy for the next 10 years or so. (pity the GXR.28 engine is a P.O.S.[>:])But with that being said about the GXR.28 at least you'll learn how to tune an engine and seal air leaks and burned bearings and when it runs good it has so much power it'll just eat up you differentials and drive train. Thats why I changed it out for the GX.21 race engine which revs higher and dont use so much fuel.Longer run times=less time spent in the pits.

Ofnas are pretty good.

You don't need to post the same thread in three different forums, and you also don't need to post the same questions in each thread.

Jammin X1x is a good buggy costs $340 ($315 with coupon) on amain
just expect to put another $30-50 into any RTR buggy you buy to replace the steering servo. I know the jammin X1's steering srvo is a Piece of junk(put it in a 1/10th scale and it has issues turning that) along with most RTR steering servos. I got a Hitec 645MG servo for my jammin and it works like a charm, it cost me $30.
other than that you will need 4 AA's a D-cell and a bottle of nitro to start a RTR Jammin X1 everything else is in the box.

first off i must thank you for noting that st's and truggies are in fact different.
i recommend the traxxas nitro sport. they go for anywhere between 230 and 280 and they are great first nitro. with odonnell 20% race mix it will do 45 and you will get around 12 minutes off a tank. are you racing or just bashing?

cant beat a good ol' 2wd st. they are one of the harder things to control because they over power easy. this makes them perfect for a first timer to the hobby or switching for nitro to electric or visa versa. it will teach you how to keep a tail happy vehicle straight under hard acceleration and cornering. both of which will come in handy on the track.

edit: forgot to mention that they are also real fun to bash

for the most part i only suggest what i have decent first hand experience with. that said, i have read little but good thing about it. from what i have read it isnt the best basher or racer but its very capable at both. if your track follows roar spec then it will need a new engine but so will any other truck.
