HPI Sprint - ESC Question
Hi Guys I just bought a second hand HPI Sprint. The guy selling it said he was having problems and didnt have the skills or time to fix it... Now that I have it I am 99.9% sure the problem is the ESC. It looks like the stock motor is still installed and based on my research the stock motor is a 20T. However, he has a TAMIYA TEU-101BK ESC installed which I believe goes down to only 23T.
This would explain why after a few minutes of driving the car will stop and the ESC goes beep beep beep until it cools down - sound right?
So my question is... what ESC should I buy from rcmart (my fav online retailer)? I want something as cheap as possible that will handle a 20T brushed motor... I'm probably gonna sell the car but wanna sell it in working condition obviously~!!
