Default bad bearing in my maxx still... help

im still trying to figure out what bearing is bad in my maxx the wistling noise keeps getting louder and i dont want it to lock up and cause total carnage...thanks in advance

It's probably a clutchbell bearing. You may have to do a process of elimination to be sure, though.

yah def. just start checing bearingsa.. i know its a slow process.. but... it may be the opnly way to find it

i already did the clutch bearings, thats what i thaught it was, i tore the tranny down and all was good and slooth there ...?

what about trying th bearings at the end of ur driveshafts... theres 2 in each one...

Most bearing failures I have experienced have been in the axle carriers and the diffs.

What makes you think you have a bad bearing? Just the sound?

When I have heard whistling (high pitched screaching) sounds from my RC's it has always been due to an overly tight mesh between the clutchbell and spur gear.

unrelated: but your from Keyser, that is a cool town (at least it has a cool look to it with the elevated bridge and all). i drive through your stomping grounds every year on my way to Petersburg for an annual excursion down through smokehole gorge. Beautiful part of the country you live in.

so i need to check my diff bearings... and no its not gear mesh i checked that and ive even changed gears and still noise... and yes the bridge is cool, if you notice a liquir store right after the bridge... im undernieth it..lol its a nice town i guess but im the only person here with a real r/c....
