Gilbert 11 heads
Where can I get a glow head for a Gilbert 11 engine? Has anyone ever tried to drill and tap a head to receive a standard glow plug?

Go here http://coxengines.ca and get the Cox .15 head. That's what I use on my Gilbert .11's and they run like krazy. I tried to drill these OEM heads out before and the insert is bigger and leaves a hole too big for a 1/4X32 thread.

It works real good with a Grey Cox 7X3, but a master airscrew is just as good, 7X3 or 7X4.
Also make sure you have enough castor oil in your fuel, the piston has a ball and socket joint on the connecting rod.
