Default Coffee can "jet engine" -- fuel lines

Hi,
I'm brand new to this forum; this is my first ever post. I'm not interested primarily in RC airplanes, but rather I'm interested in jet engines. In particular, I'm trying to build a "jet engine" out of a coffee can. I'm basing my efforts on this YouTube video I found: <redacted>

Can anyone recommend fuel lines and fittings for this kind of DIY project (pressurized gaseous fuel)? I visualize a thin copper tube, maybe a few millimeters in diameter, extending through the coffee can and into the combustion chamber. Outside of the coffee can, a plastic tube will connect over the copper tube and run to a pressurized can of gas of some kind (propane, isobutane, whatever). I've browsed around for gaseous fuels, and I've found plenty of cans of the stuff, but they all come with specific adapters (usually for camping stoves or such normal things). I'm pretty much trying to do what I saw in the YouTube video, but don't know what to buy. Of course I'd also like a valve to shut it on and off. In the future I'm thinking of a remote-controlled valve. But not yet.

I think the kind of jet engine I'm trying to make is a "motorjet." In reality, I guess there are more technical considerations that will not qualify my contraption as more than a flamethrower inside a ducted fan. However, I'll be glad if I can just get it to light. After that, I'll be super happy if I can prove that the flame is adding thrust.

Thanks,
Ben
