If you are interested in competing in the RCU World Micro Heli Cup this October 22nd and 23rd on the floor of the LA Convention Center during the iHobbyExpo, you need to get your application in!! wish I could go to something like this, if I wern't 14 I'd get a ticket and fly over there with my now mismatched 36 and win...or not oh well I'd like to see if somehow I could get an excuse anyways.

PS: do any of those pilots have a name on the forums and if so what are they? and when is the last time you can get the application in/how much does a ticket cost?

Lol, it's the highly skilled pilot part that keeps me from entering. I can fly around a bit now but still just entering intermediate levels. If I could be there as a spec, I will go but don't know if the sched will allow it yet. I bet it's going to be a great time!

heh I probably fly better with my eyes closed right now, but if I get really lucky I *could* win if no one else was in the same class.... heh that's only if I can make the whole course with out crashing.

PS: I didn't see a "keep your heli in the air the longest" now THAT would be interesting to see, I've never seen some one try that and it would be neat to see, maybye you could add that in?

cool idea, but boring for spectators at an indoor event. We have an IRCHA-sanctioned set of maneuvers that the pilots have to accomplish. Should be interesting!!

ok well add some spiff to it like balancing an egg while racing, or maybe upside down racing, WITH and egg! now THAT would be a challenge as well as quite thrilling. make sure that course would have some aerobatics in it as well.
