Super Tigre gs-45 with macs muffler
hello.
i have the super tigre gs-45 on my su-do-khoi (fun fly) and i would like to know if it is worth to get one of macs one piece muffler.
the original muffler is heavy and apt to open and fall.
what are the advantage of macs one piece muffler? how much is it lighter? does it add more rpm?

i need a lighter muffler beacause i have a problem with the cg.

tooly - yep the magic should fit both the 51 is about .5mm bigger , yep we look at the fly hi site every so often but it's no match for rcu.
the 51 and 11x4 should be great on the sudo.

I had master 11x4 on mu gs-45 but it was too small.
the response of the sudo in the air was too lazy with 11X4, i tried master 11x5 and it was much better, tomorrow i will check APC 11x5.

great engine and they last for ever, this is a ringed engine so you must run it in very,very rich and it takes time, we have several and they are better than any of than 46 's around not very much stronger but great response and reliability

Tooly,
If you use Morgan, Byron, Model Technics, add about 3-4% Degummed Castor oil to it (Tissan Haifa and its affiliated shops have the Klotz BeNOL. Call Rami 04-8645076.) for break-in.
I use 20% (at least 9% Castor) total oil in all my engines.
