Giant Stearman
I have an RCS 215 radial I decided not to use for my Fw, so I'm considering the BalsaUSA 1/3 scale P-17 for my next big project. I know Mike Barbee shows that combo. Any mortals out there with real building/flight experience? Is it a stable flyer? I have lots of single and twin giant warbird experience, but not much with bipes.

That should be an excellent combination. No problems. Just remember that bipes don't glide very well, so don't get caught short of the runway. Come in at 1/3-1/4 power and chop the throttle at the flare. [sm=thumbup.gif]
