Hello,

I recently purchased a second hand F-86 Sabre kit from a friend of mine.
The kit is from SM-Tech or SM Modelltechnik in Germany.

I’m wondering of the company still exists as I’m looking for some updated plans for the kit as well as some info on the differentiators between the in the instructions mentioned “new improved” and “old” fuselage.

Does anyone have experience with building this model and still has the plans from his kit? Any tips?
All kind of help is highly appreciated.

I was also wondering if I can use 605 Robart retracts (they support up to 12pound ~ plane will have a max weight of 7kg) with RoboStruts instead of the recommended spring air retracts (what kind of model ? the type was not in the manual)?

Hi,

If your looking for undercarriage for your sabre, I have a complete package for sale.
It consists of Spring air 503 main gear including robart struts and Trim wheels and brakes.
Trim twist and turn nose gear, robart strut and Intairco nose wheel.
