Default Feda Gyro problems

Hi All,

I am a Heli Newbie with a Feda Dragonfly - I fly outdoors (doing too much damage indoors!) anyway recently I am getting slight tail rotation (clockwise) at lower throttle levels, if I trim it out I then get the opposite rotation at higher throttle. Is it a gyro problem or is the tail motor on its way out!

Also would a Heading lock gyro help and how would it fit this board (see pic)?

Cheers
Steve

hmm..dont know but when you have your helicopter in your hand and if you turn it counter clockwise the tail should spin.

It might be the motor,I've seen a couple posts where motors also fried the speed control when they shorted out after much wear. They are cheap,I'd replace both of them.
I also made little heat sinks from aluminum tape,it sticks well, and really helps the temperatures.I take a strip 1/4 inch wide,1 1/5 inch long and fold it back and forth on its self to make short fins, then just stick it on,works great
