Default MVVS 58 Cannister length

Dear sirs:

I'd like to use a Krumseid header to get a better fit of my MVVS 58 + cannister in my model whenever the performance of the engine won't be decreased.

My questions:
1. How the header length works in these engines? Is it like the glow tuned pipes?
2. Could you give me a recommendation of the optimized length for a 24 x 10?

Thank you in advance.
Best Regards,
Javier

Default RE: MVVS 58 Cannister length

Dear Preivers:

Sorry if I didn't explain correctly. My cannister is from MVVS also. My question is if the distance betwen the can and the engine has to be exactly the same as the standatd MVVS header, or may be longer without modifying the engine performaces...

Thank you
Regards,
Javier

Any change in length will have influence on performance, one way or another. Good results have been obtained wth longer headers in combination with the 3204 canister, and running at about 6000 rpm.

Does any off you know the fuel burn for the 58 ProSport? I have been looking all over the internet but can't find it anywhere..
I want a good safe 8-10 minutes, so I though about 600 cc or so??

600 cc should be good for at least 20 minutes of flying with normal throttle use....ie not wide open the whole time.
