Team Associated has the SC10 and an SC8 (Nitro). Team Losi has the Strike (not very good but cheap),the TEN-SCTE and XXX-SCT. HPI has the Blitz. On top of the Slash 2WD, Traxxas also has the Slash 4x4 and the Slayer Pro (Nitro). Just Google short course trucks.
-The Strike is RtR for 129.99. It hasissues and I wouldn't recommend itbut that is the cheapest you'll find it. I think someone on this site wrote that you can get a brushLESS SC10 for like $260, which would be a MUCH better deal than a brushed Slash for $230.

The Strike is a piece of crap. The XXX-SCT is the best out-of-the-box short course truck money can buy. The Associated SC10 brushless RTR and RS RTR are the best bang-for-the-buck SCT's. The Slash is the second worst SCT money can buy.
