RE: Esky 6CH transmiter
Hi, welcome I do not know what frequency you are on, but in usa air frequency is 72 mhz and land/water is 27 mhz and 75 mhz.
There may be some more than that, but they are not to be mixed up. You may be able to use it for controlling another heli or plane if the freq is the same.

RE: Esky 6CH transmiter
Although you could use this TX with another negative shift (Futaba) RX I doubt that you would want to. The primary reason is that the mixing is internal to the TX and is hard coded in the firmware. It would be strictly limited to other 120 CCPM helis in any case. Also, you would not have the ability to adjust the travel on the servos on the other bird. If you are sticking with the hobby, do yourself a favour and invest in the most capable TX you can afford (JR, Futaba, Airtronics or Hitec). Make certain it has heli features (120 CCPM mixing, etc.) - most modern computerized 6 ch+ TXs do. A used 8 or 9 ch TX is a real bargain second hand (~$150-200 US). If you want to use the new TX with your Esky 4-in-1 RX, make sure you buy a negative shift TX (like a Futaba). If this is your first heli, don't limit yourself to negative shift if you find a good deal - you can always buya cheap GWS 6CH RX and split up your Esky 4-in-1 into a 3-in-1 + RX and just swap out the RX for the GWS. You won't regret it - the capabilities of the newer radios are simply amazing and provide complete control over the aircraft.
