Revo 3.3 5309 Brushless conversion. Help needed :-)
Hey everyone. I have a Revo 3.3 5309. Not been used for few years now. I had already converted it to a big block 3 years back with LRP ZR.32 and was successful, so I know my way around the car quite well.
I am looking for convert it to brushless now as new project but this is where its going to be all new to me.
I have read that using a E-Revo chassis, swapping bulkheads and other things over and then replacing whats missing is easiest way?
Would this require chassis from a certain E-Revo model? E-Revo, E-Revo Brushless or E-Revo Brushless 2.0?
Also, what sort of motor and cooling method would be best. I want wheelies and 50mph.
Thanks for your time.

I just converted my 3.3 to brushless Have not done a speed test but she is fast I have to turn down speed on controller.
I ordered a motor mount kit and got a wish motor ESC setup I'll have to check kv but it's not hard just have to do some research on Google a few hours and I had all I needed to make it work I have the two speed transmission but no reverse did a foward only conversion and then you can take out first gear if you want reverse to work lock up second gear

Go for the E-Revo Brushless or 2.0 chassis. A Castle Creations 2200kv motor with a heatsink and fan will give you the speed and wheelies you're after. Also, get a solid ESC like the Mamba Monster X.
