rs4 2 parking lot hop-ups
i am getting a rs42 nitro with p.s. hpi 15 and will almost exclusively be using it in a bumpy parking lot. and reccomendations on hop-ups aimed at reliability? i don't need more speed as the lot is smallish. i am a little worried about pebbles getting stuck in the belts though. i could use some baselines for shock oils and springs. any susp set ups that will offer better turn in? anything i should watch out for? this will be nitro #3 but on-road#1

Why waste money?
Seriously..hp ups are not cheap!! Dont throw your money away.. keep your basher... a basher.
Save up and buy a real racer if you want speed.
Thats my take!

If you are going to be running in a parking lot with a lot of rocks/pebbles, I would not reccomend the RS4 2. You will burn up a lot of belts and gear that way...very fast! That is the reason I sold mine. If I was you, i would go with the RTR Nitro TC3 for bashing, cheap enough to bash around with, yet has the potential to be a race winner, and has a shaft instead of belts. Thats just my opinion though.

I havent owned a belt so I dont know. I will say that I had absolutely no problem with my shaft driven RS4.
It was awesome on the road. whatever you want, unless your gonna race.. dont invest too much!
