Default TGA Christmas Specials

Here is some info that I think will help build the ranks of the R/C Jet Community...

I just got off the TGA website and could not believe the combo prices they are offering on their Beginner Jets. With all the posts lately about entry level jets, I wanted to let the viewers that are interested know that they have their F-15 and Mig-29 on a hell of a sale.
I learned to fly jets on their F-15 and have never owned a better handling jet since. My hat is off to TGA as these prices are lower than when I purchased my F-15 and O.S. 91, 10 years ago.
Now there is no reason not to enter the wonderful world of R/C Jets.

Holy crap! That IS a sweet deal....

If I did not already have a TGA F-15 (and a bunch of other planes) I would grab my Visa-

Also, for anyone who is going to go with TGA to get started in jets- I have dealt with "Darryl" at the factory and Terry Holston (right on here-) and they are second to none in service!

Cheers,
james

Anybody else notice that the prices they have listed don't add up?

They have regular prices of $489 for the kit and $399.99 for the engine for a total price of $898.99 but with my math those two prices add up to $888.99.

Then for the special combo price they have prices of $309 for the kit and $259.99 for the engine for a total special combo price of $538.99 but with my math those two prices add up to $568.99.

Then they state the savings are $320, which is correct off the individual prices, but from their listed regular combo price to their listed super savings price the savings would actually be $360. But remember the listed combo prices seem to be wrong.

So I wonder what the 'real' special combo price is going to be? Should it be $538.99 as advertised or the other number of $568.99 which you get from adding the individual special prices.

I do come from Australia so please correct me if you guys here in the US add up differently! Something doesn't look right.

TGA's F-16-C Viper is Exact 1/6 scale and flys great. lands like a trainer. The scale gear is the most scale F-16 gear there is. It was copied from the full scale gear and works just like it.[8D]

PMFJI Terry but have you flown TGA F-16 to make that conclusion. In as much as I believe that it is a good airplane, I refuse to accept your statement that it lands like a trainer.

Just my 2 cents worth of contribution.

Ben

HEY TERRY, WHEN HAVE YOU SEEN THIS PLANE LAND LIKE A TRAINER?
I FINALLY GOT TO SEE ONE FLY REALLY GOOD AT MICHIGAN JETS. IT HAD AN AMT 400 IN IT AND IT NEEDED EVERY BIT. TAKE OFF IN ABOUT 750 FT., LANDINGS AT ABOUT HALF THROTTLE AND ABOUT 1000 FT. IF YOUR LUCKY., BETTER HAVE GOOD BRAKES. PLANE WT. ABOUT 43 LBS. AT TAKEOFF.
YEA IT'S A GREAT TRAINER IF YOUR FLYING THE FULL SCALE ONE. [:'(]
