Default royal c-47

Need to talk to someone with direct experience with this kit.
Thrust angles on the engines? CG point, saito 56's. someone outhere must have one flying. Heard some neg things but those planes must be setup wrong.

Tim,
Built and flew this kit several years ago. Don't remember the details but it flew rather well. It's light enough (fixed gear) and was overpowered with HB .40's (remember those?). I built it to plan except I remember wanting the nacelles to have no side thrust. It did tend to drop off on one wing when stalled at altitude, I never determined if it was due to the wing shape or if I simply didn't have the engines matched at idle. Either way it was not a problem, just didn't get it that slow until in the flare for landing.
I'd say its a good first twin project, have fun.
