Anybody see the April RCM mag with this plan in it?Always liked that plane.Being new at twins and reading some of the horror stories about stalling etcSeems tapered wings are a problem that way/the posts on the DC-3 I have read. This thing has lot of taper.Just wondered what some of you that are more knowledgable on twins think.Plan to try that GP P-38 when it comes out.Still haven't repaired my ill-fated Twinstar or found another.Big swap in Tucson this weekend will watch there for one.
Another thought am I just cheap or are plans awfully expensive? They want $18 for the plan for it.HAven't bought plans since the 60s they were lot cheaper then.

Shouldn't be any trouble to get a 3-view and do your own plan. The one in RCM was as boxy as could be, I'm sure you could make a lot better one.

Only thing in particular I'd say is make the wing root incidence about 4 degrees positive, and twist the wing to zero incidence at the tip. No big deal.

And if you build it electric you don't have any "Twin-Engine Gotchas" to worry about.

Just go for it.

Bill.
