I'm in the process of finishing a 1/3 balsa USA Sopwith Pup. I covered the wings with super coverite and in the process of doping the wings with sig buyrate dope. I ran out of supercoverite and covered the fuselage with sig coverall. I then put a coat of clear buyrate dope on it.
I got some color chips and had a batch of latex paint made up of the olive drap. I did a test spray of it on the stab and the results was horrible !!!
Any suggestions??? I would like to try using olive drab dope, but bottom of the wings and fuselage are in natural linen color. I was able to get color chip of that had a can of latex made up.
Worst case - I;ll recover in solarex

I have a suggestion. Try Nelson Hobbies. They have a website with all of the military colors you need for polyurethane paint that is water soluable. The fabric covering they have is light and durable. I painted by hand a Bearcat done in his fabric and paint. With the hardener, it turned out great.
