Default Quick OFNA Truggy gear pitch question

I'm converting an old MBX R2 (truggy conversion years ago) to brushless. Neither 32P or 48P mesh with the spur gear. What pitch do I need?

No, it was a nitro buggy converted to a nitro truggy.

After much digging it turns out old "vintage" OFNA MBX R2 Nitro 1/8 buggy used 22P bell pinion / spur gear. No 22P 5mm pinion gear on the market that I can find.

I feel like a broken record:
https://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/12799530-post8.html

That link I posted is the most economical part that is likely compatible from the same OEM

According to this manual here for the Ultra MBX R2 they specify the stock spur as #31040
https://www.manualslib.com/manual/76...?page=6#manual

https://www.ebay.com/itm/175835724837

I've ran enough HongNor cars that chances are you may get a full diff to work as well if you measure the bearings and distance between the slots in the diff mount then ask someone on RC Tech to measure and confirm:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/255127759402

After you take your measurement (outer bearing to outer bearing) and verify bearing diameter, then ask someone on this thread to confirm measurements:

I still have the original center diff and it includes the 31040 spur gear. When the truggy kit was installed, it included a solid shaft to replace the diff and an ONFA 18163 65T spur gear to compensate for the larger tires. Neither the 31040 or 18163 spur gears have a 32 (or 48) pitch. The bell clutch / 31040 and 18163 spur gears have a 22P. So purchasing the 31040 will not work when converting to brushless.

This is why I said it would be easier to swap out the entire diff with one that uses standard MOD1 gears

That would work, but I find a solid center diff works better for bashing! :-D
