Default Nitro 3.3 Rustler

Installed a TRX 3.3 In my Nitro Rustler...
Installed a Modified Crankshaft and a Losi 3.4 Carburetor and Now has INSANE POWER...
Highly recommend to upgrade any TRX 3.3 Nitro Engine with these upgrades to have a Traxxas 3.3 Nitro Engine to have INSANE POWER...

Except the 3.3 is really too much power even in stock form for a Nitro Rustler to begin with. I have a drag modified 3.3 with a Nelson Plug head button and modified Losi Mach 427 carb in my Jato, and it’s pretty fast in the Jato, but it’s absolutely stupid in the Rustler. I have Jato suspension in my Rustler to make it way more stable with a crazy engine (the Jato suspension makes a massive difference!!), but the transmission is the weak point. Namely the sun gears in the diff. Don’t free spin the rear wheels or you’ll grenade the diff.

How does that 3.3 ride on the street?

With Jato suspension on it, really nicely all things considered. The biggest issue is keeping it right side up. Not easy to do with a 3.3 on board. Gearing it to keep the front end planted just makes the top end even more obnoxious.
